DVDFab DVD Copy - Customize
This is a versatile copying mode that gives the user ultimate control of their DVD copies. You can choose
to keep all the content of the DVD output, or just keep favorite footages, subpictures/audio tracks, menus,
and specify title playback order to create a DVD with only the stuff you want!
Customize Guide
If you don't want to look at the text guide bellow, please scroll down this page to bottom for video tutorial.
Step 1) Start up DVDFab
Start up DVDFab, welcome screen will appear. If you don’t want to see it again, check the box "Do not
show again", then select DVD Copy option, Start DVDFab.
Step 2) Load DVD movie
As you can see this is the main interface of DVDFab which is resizable and more readable on large screen.
Please select DVD Copy-->Customize mode in the left navigation bar, insert your DVD disk to the
DVD-ROM tray.
If you choose to copy a DVD from a file you already have on your hard drive, you need to click folder icon
or ISO icon to select the source files, remember your files have to be ripped by DVDFab.
(This guide uses DVD disc as source, using default output path as the target.)
Now specify the DVD disc's region code, then click OK. This pop-up window is used to remove the
'RCE -Region Code Enhancement' on the original DVD, which can be disabled by checking "Do not show
again", you still can find the default RCE settings in Common Settings/Protection/DVD.

It will open the DVD and you just need to wait a while for analyzing the disc as illustrated below.

Step 3) Start ripping process

Please choose your preferred titles, audio tracks/subpictures on the right-hand side of DVDFab’s main
interface. Open "Title Start/End settings" window to specify title playback order. Simply highlight the
desired stream and your scenes will appear in the lower left-hand preview screen. This is great for
customizing exactly which portions of the DVD you would like to keep or omit.

In the example below, your backup will play title1, title6 and title8 with AC-3/5.1 English audio, English
and German subtitles. Quality is at 60% for output.
Now click the "Next" button to access a page with additional options, including the ability to specify
a Volume name for your output. Not all options are available in Customize mode.

Choose "DVD5" or "DVD9" in the lower area, choose DVD5, DVDFab will compress the material to
make it fit on one DVD5 disc; choose DVD9, DVDFab will make an integrated copy with no
compression.
When all selections are complete, click "Start" to begin the copy process. After some time when the ripping process is completed, just press the Finish button.
Note: If you want to burn the customized movie files to blank disc without ripping to hard drive first,
you can set the target as DVD burner to burn directly. Details about controls and settings you can find on Main Movie mode.
