● Conversion Settings: Choose the file format that can be played on PC and supported mobile devices. You also can choose the file format you always use as default.

>1

Video+Audio: Convert video file with audio track.

Audio Only: This handy feature allows extraction of DVD audio streams to audio-only files in many formats.(See table below) The audio files are created using special profiles with DVDFab's Mobile option. Any input Source that would normally be used in DVD Ripper can be used as an input for this function.

                        Available Ouput Formats

               Audio format................Mobile Profile
                   MP3                      Generic,iPod
                   AC-3,DTS,etc.            Generic(audiocopy)
                   WAV                      Generic
                   M4A                      iPod
                   WMA                      Zune

If more than one audio type is available in the device you opened (as in Generic), use the profile drop down selector (the right hand one) to select the audio type you would like. If applicable, select the split, audio bitrate desired, and enter filenames. Your output audio files will be produced in the Target location chosen earlier.
Split by the chapter marks on the original DVD,  which is a great feature for converting concert or music DVDs to individual files.

File name: You can specify the output file name here.
Title: Specify the title tag of this file.

Encoding Method:
Fast encoding (1-pass): only 1 pass encoding.
High quality encoding (2-pass): the first pass encoding is a get information process, and the second pass is the real encoding. Video quality and output file size estimate improved over one-pass; takes a little longer.

Fixed Bitrate: Specify the bitrate for encoding, and the bitrate is constant value.

Fixed File Size: Specify the output file size.

Split: Split the output files by the chapter marks of the original disc (or by output file size in some modes). This function will assign file names as specified and insert the chapter number in the filename in the format: Titlename.chapter01(02 etc.).filesuffix.

Framerate: Specify the frame number per second.

Deinterlacing: DVDFab will analyze the source file by itself to decide whether needs to use this technology, you also can choose this box to use it.

Audio Bitarate: Choose audio bitrate your mobile device supports.

Volume: Specify the audio volume you want.

>3
Bits/Pixel: The higher the value, the better the video quality of the output. This number will vary as you move the video bitrate slider. The value in the example above is very low and might produce video artifacts; increasing the bitrate or using a smaller screen size will make the bits/pixel value go up.

Subpicture: Tells DVDFab how to handle subtitles in the conversion. The choices are Direct Render to Video or Extract to IDX/SUB file.
