Write
Burning Engine:
VSO burning engine is included with DVDFab. If you install Nero or ImgBurn on your computer, you also can choose to use either of these applications for burning to disc. They can be selected with the drop down selector near the top of the page.
Write Speed:
Select the burning speed that your writer and blank disc can support. Our suggestion is that lower speeds may bring better results.
Write Type of DVD-R Media:
Packet writing is supported by all DVD drives which can write DVD-R, SAO is only supported by newer (almost all for now) DVD drives. Both write type outputs are compatible DVD disc, which can be played by PC and standalone DVD player.
DVD Writable Media (DVD-5) Size:
We suggest you use 4300 MB or less, since if you burn data on the edge of blank disc, the playback quality can be poor. You can set other default values or a Custom value using the drop down selector.
DVD Writable Media (DVD-9) Size:
The Default value is 8000 MB. As with DVD-5 above, this size can be set by the user to other defaults or customized.
Overwrite rewritable media automatically
Set booktype to DVD-ROM (only for DVD+R/RW media):
Setting the disc booktype to DVD-ROM can make your backup disc more compatible with some standalone players. Not all drives support this feature.
Do not eject disc when finished burning
Verify disc after finished burning
Verifies your backup disc disc to make sure it's burned correctly.
